The exercise I love the most (and why): Any CARDIO! Running, swimming or biking clears my mind to think better, and feel better overall

Favorite workout song: “Pull Over” by Trina. I sometimes like to finish my group classes with “Heart if the Sunrise” by Yes because it’s 11 plus minutes to finish strong and go hard.
Favorite thing about Body Soul: I love the gym itself, it has everything you need for a great workout and then some.
Hobbies: When I’m not at the gym I’m a firefighter in the glorious city of East Providence. I also love hiking, riding my bike, making jewelry, my jerk dogs, and buying too many jumpsuits.
The exercise I love the most (and why): While I wouldn’t say I enjoy doing them, I’d say that burpees are my favorite exercise. There are so many variations, and they’re a great combination of cardio and body weight training. My fave burpee now is starting from kneeling and finishing it with a tuck jump.
Favorite local restaurant: Lawd, Matunuck Oyster Bar is way up there, and Ebisu in Cranston has amazing duck ramen.
Quick fitness tip: For a fitness tip, I always suggest waking up and immediately moving. A 5 minute stretch while still in bed, or a mile jog while the coffee is brewing. It doesn’t have to be anything strenuous, but it will definitely set the tone for the day and help wake you up.
